newborn feathers question

How long does it take for a new chick to fluff out? My chick is about 7 hours old, and still looks matted. (still cute tho) Karen

Very funny! How did you know???? I have looked at her so much, every time she sees my face she gets up, peeps and tries to climb to me by trying to climb up on the eggs. Then she did that yawning thing. I guess I'm Mama!!!
Poor lonely chick. Tomorrow she will go to a box with a little teddy bear to snuggle up against. Karen
