Hello everyone,
Yes we are in Reno and do not have chickens yet but we came here to answer our questions. My wife and I will be sharing this login so if you see us say something goofy it is probably me. If you see us say something smart or funny, that is probably my wife. She are the smartly one.
Since winter is right around the corner, we are not planning to get any chickens yet. I figured this would be a great place to read posts about keeping the chickens and so on. So far the plan is to get about 4 or 5 layers for now. We live in a neighborhood with a small yard so I am not sure how my neighbors are going to like it. I need to do more research about laws, breeds and if my HOA is going to be a problem. I have already found a ton of information here this morning so it may be a while before I have any questions that you haven't already answered. Wish me luck.
