I answered in the other thread, but I'll answer here, too, just in case anyone here has any comments or different opinions:Thank you all for your warm welcome. I loved all the responses and encouragement so much. I am going to post the pics of my chickens that I am not sure of breed
Ty againI answered in the other thread, but I'll answer here, too, just in case anyone here has any comments or different opinions:
1. Gold Laced Wyandotte
2. Australorp
3. Partridge Wyandotte?
4. Blue Marans
5. Silver Double-Laced Barnevelder
I'm not sure about the younger ones, possibly Australorp (that white will probably molt out.) What color are the bottoms of their feet?
Yep! The bottom of their feet. I'm wondering if they are whitish or yellow.Ty again
Do you mean underneath their feet? I'll go and check.... the tops of their feet are dark
Gorgeous birds!Thank you all for your warm welcome. I loved all the responses and encouragement so much. I am going to post the pics of my chickens that I am not sure of breed
Its rough. All this time with chickens and I still struggle to diagnose problems. I've heard of sourcrop. I know the signs, but I still didn't realize one of mine had developed it, until after she developed an odor. It was like a lightbulb moment. I wish I'd caught it earlier so treatment would be easier on her, but its a learn as you go process.Thank you so much. It's hard to accept especially when we could have prevented it.appreciate your message
