Newby here

Hi. Just finished building my coop.

Have first 4 hens. 2 RIR and 2 Black stars. The RIR are 2 years old. Previous owner gave them to me bc they were molting.
The black stars are about 4 months old.

Any advice to a comeplete newby??

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have some excellent layers. Thanks for posting the pic of your coop. ) Black Star is one of several labels under which some hatcheries market their Black Sex Links and they are very friendly and hardy egg laying machines that will consistently churn out more than 300 large brown eggs per hen per year with double yolks not being uncommon.
