Hi all. Man, I am so glad I found this site. All topics included here..how cool is that? I used to live on a small farm. I miss it so we are trying to start a small self sustaining homestead in the S.E. corner of washington state.

I am thinking of raising some kind of quail but not to sure on what specious to try first.

Guess that is enough of an intro for now. I will probably lurk a bit before popping a question.

Thank you for having this all around forum for us to play in owners.

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some good starting points, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
