Newby starting our flock

Hi All, I have been looking at BYC for a while now, planning out our future flock. We are new to all of this. We currently have 6 ducklings (3 male(by accident) & 3 female). We are planning on 8 hens. We will be getting pullets in a month or so. Any advice is always appreciated.
