Hi ya'll. We got baby chicks in the spring '23 and now it's full fledged fall here in northeaster OH. We have 18 hens and 2 bantam roosters! Thank goodness they're little because they are trying to rule me currently! We've been getting eggs now for about 2 weeks and we are super excited about it! Our chickens have a run but we often let them free range about the place. We have at least eight different breeds of chickens and delight in them all!!! We also have horses, dogs, and cats. Our one kitten is always trying to "stalk" the chickens and it is hilarious good fun to witness! I appreciate the chart with acceptable treats to give them as we love to hand out treats to our "girls". We look forward to communicating with the community and learning lots of good info.
