My chickens are in a different area than our goats so I really don't know! Sounds like a fun idea!Welcome to BYC, glad you joined. It's a good place to learn. The homestead farm east of Dallas that took in our white cochin cockerel (no males allowed here, sigh) had goats too - she told me the chickens liked to ride the goats or just perch on them, and later that night sent me a picture of our little Terri already riding a goat. Do your chickens like to perch on your goats?
I have a variety. All are bantams. I have silkies (1 rooster), frizzles, a Malaysian Serama Rooster, 2 Serama hens, and two Bobtail Cochin hens. I also hatched some bantam chicks recently. Some will be frizzles. So cute...not sure what the others will be...possibly silkie. Just hoping for hens!Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined! What breed's of chicken do you have?
Sean, where in Texas are you? I lived in Texas for 17 years and my son lives just outside of Abilene in a small community called Hamby.Howdyand Welcome to Backyard Chickens.
