1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, we are, we got our chicks about a month and a half ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We started with 6 and now have 18
(3) What breeds do you have?
Americana, rhode island reds, and some others
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
watching them scratch and pickup food. and when one gets something interesting, watching them run and hide while the others try to chase them to see what the action is all about.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
backyard fun
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
4 four of us, we moved from florida to AL not too long ago, and bought property to put backyard animals on. we love it, and wish we'd done it long ago.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found y'all on google, and been coming back with any questions i had. most times someone else already answered it.
