We had our first calf of the season this morning right about noon. She was too busy eating to give me a head shot!!

Momma's grandma was a cow you didn't want to mess with when she calved!! She used to be one I dreaded having to eartag her calf.....she liked to run over you!! Her grandaughter isn't quite that bad!! I hold em and my husband does the tagging and banding.

She's a Simmental mix. We just had another about 1/2 an hour ago....so I guess calving season has officially started.

Baby's are so cute. We started calving our heifers a couple of weeks ago. We even had a set of twins. Sorry, don't have any pictures to post.
