Congratulaions they are just too cute. Love the little bluey coloured one. I have 1 of my other eggs pip last night, so hopefully today or over night I will have someone to keep fart blossem company.

this morning when I went out to feed. Remember the pretty marked duck I got from you, Tula

guess what

I shouted Tula....where the hell did you get that feather from, did you borrow it from William or what.
Its funny coz I was saying in another post last month about noisy ducks that Tula is a very quiet duck, ive never hear her quack yet..but then again Ive never heard him rasp either, come to think of it Ive never heard Fiona quack either, but with you saying she layed eggs im presuming she is a she. Editing to say yes I know shes a female, Ive watched her lay an egg. PomPom, now she lets rip, all day every day . SOOOOO, me and Curiositycat were wondering where the shading comes from on Elliot my duckling, could it come from Tula..you have had brown duckling, who knows.
Oh well, looks like im up to 3 drakes. Im sooo glad they all get along and dont fight.

Oh No! That's freakyweird! They quacked for sure here and the boys from that hatch had already got their drake tailfeathers. There were 5 ducklings in that hatch, the 2 blues and 3 'for sure' boys (late June hatch, I think).

You can bring him back and swap him for a girl if you want. I've got the choc Ancona girls and a crested Pekin girl (hatched 11/16) to chose from.
I'm very sorry for the mistake.
