Hi - I have been pouring through BYC for a while obsessing over coops, chickens, watering devices, etc. I finally decided to take the plunge and fully embrace the obsession.
I currently have a Rhode Island Red (Potato), Barred Rock (Oreo), and two black stars ( Chicken and Lickin') that are about 10 weeks old. I also have 4 Black Copper Marans that are about 3 weeks old. I know one is a roo and one is a pullet and the other two could go either way. I am also obsessing over some Cream Legbars, but will have to finish up the larger coop in order to house more chickens. (Seems to be a common problem here)
So, I am looking forward to various shades of brown eggs later this summer as well as to eventually completing a properly large coop to feed the addiction.
