Newly crowing hen..... or maybe a roo....

About 10 weeks ago, I got two cute little baby chicks, supposedly both female. This week my Ameraucauna started crowing. She has always been bigger and dominant. These are the first chickens I've ever owned so I'm a bit clueless. Roosters are not allowed in the city limits so if she is a he, she's gotta go. From pictures we've googled online, we are leaning towards a rooster. Some advice would be helpful! Hen or roo?

Yes, beautiful, but roosters are illegal in the city limits so.... not sure what I'll do now.

Thanks everyone. I didn't want to hear it, but it's still nice to know the truth. I guess now the search begins for a new home and a new companion for my hen.
