I'm so old I Remember when:

I never worried much about "coolness" when I was a kid. I didn't mind looking uncool, being uncool. I was one of the social outcasts, so there wasn't much I could do to raise my cool factor, no matter what I did.

I remember when I was in high school …
If I wanted to wear my clothes inside out or backwards
And in college mix match socks two different colored shoes
Clothes that did not go together or put grape kool aid in my hair to make it purple

Anything to be different and stand out

I did.

If you liked me that was fine or if you did not like me that was fine

We need to do a DNA comparison. I think you may be my long lost sister. I learned to embrace my uniqueness.

I remember my uniqueness

And at 64 I still do

Right now I have neon glow nail polish
green one hand pink and orange the other hand and orange red one foot and the other yellow orange and I have a black light at home to see them glow

The blue in my hair was cut out in April so it is getting time to do it again

… thinking about a purple shade next but I could change my mind

Now that my formerly black hair is snow white I am thinking about a turquoise streak in it. Just have not decided where to put it.
Tulsi's streak looks really great .. on her. In my mind a turquoise streak in snow white hair would look flirty and nice peaking out from the underside of the hair behind one ear. Depending, of course, on one's hair length, curl, style, and condition. JMO
