newly grown pumpkin leaf - wilting?

i just started growing pumpkins this year, and they finally started producing flowers - but something's wrong. One of the pumpkins new grown leafs are crusted or wilted on around three to four of them. Some of my grapevine leaves are acting the exact same, so does anyone know what's up?

Looks like they are being chewed on. Look for caterpillars.

If it's catapillars spinosad works better. Identify your critters before you spray.

there is literally nothing on my pumpkin leaves i can find, so i am sure it is slugs since my garden is quite moist.

Slugs and snails leave a shiney slime trail.Get a loupe so you can see up close. Hard to tell from photo but are there eggs of some sort on the bottom of your leaves?

no eggs, but i've got another problem with them ;-; the stems are very dark green and i think it may be a bacterial infection or something.

oh the leaves might be wilting because of the yellow spots on them. My pumpkins are depressing ;-;

My pumpkins are still seeds in the ground hoping to germinate. Are they getting too much water?

maybe they are. I water them thoroughly twice a day, but it is summer so it dries out fast - would once a day be enough?
