I have a 24 hour chick that cant stand up at first i thought she had splay leg and i put the brace on her legs but still not getting better . I noticed her i guess knewe joint wont extend all the wat straight on both sides so she cant stand poor baby can barely get around . She tries so hard but to no avail. I also had to put a boot on one foot bc of curled toes which thats almost 100% better now . Can anyone help me plz i dont want her to suffer and i cannot bring myself to put her down .

Yes ill get some when i get back home. What do you need to see exactly ? Like do i need to take close up of her legs and just her sitting like she always does ? Im afraid her legs r gonna stay like that if i dont do something soon. I just don't know how to go about doing that bc if i put a brace on both legs to straighten them then she wont b able to move at all

Anything you're able to get might help! If she sits oddly, that might help someone figure it out as well, but a close-up of the legs would definitely be useful. Do her legs feel hot or swollen? Has she had it since the moment she hatched/you noticed her moving around?

She has never stood since hatching. The only way i can describe what she looked like when she first came out was thst her foot kept getting caught in her wing on the right side. Her butt goes up n the air and her front part on the ground but when i try to pick her up to help her stand she doesn't even try at all.

Oh, poor thing. :( Sounds like a hatch deformity. I've heard of chicken slings but never seen them used or made for such young chicks, so I don't know if that'd help at all.

Seems as though the knee joint is sorta flat from her sitting on it so much idk . I hate seeing babies suffer .

Oh no, poor thing. Is she eating and drinking okay at least? Hopefully someone else has more insight - I have no idea what she has other than a possible hatch issue.

Not really eating on her own i mean she'll peck at the ground when something is there but i havent seen her go to the food or water . But i know when they first hatch they really dont need to eat so i just figured she wasnt hungry. Bc none of them were really interested for a while . Today i see them eating and drinking but i havent noticed her i have her n a box by herself bc she was getting trampled on . I give her food and water but i have 2 babies under 2 so its hard to feed her all day
