newly hatched chick stuck on bottom of bator

my chicks hatched today the first came out of shell quickly and now appears glued to the towel i had placed on top of the styrofoam floor has been like this for an hour and is struggling to get un stuck but appears to not be able get unglued the sticky layer on the inside of eggshell is looking to be the problem
should i help and when?

Is ther any possibility of squirting a little warn water - using an eyedropper or needleless syringe or whatever, under the baby to dissolve the problem? Think that's what I would try 1st. Don't want to tear the baby's skin. Tough 1st day, huh?
