Newbie to the boards, lerker for awhile now, hi :-D
I'm looking to find some help with a newly hatched chick. After several unsucessful tries, she is my first (and only) hatch
However, I posted in a smaller forum worrying about her not walking yet and I've been told she should have by now. She was hatched Monday afternoon, though I had the egg in a cartoon and she was unable to climb out so I tipped the egg to help her.
Her toes are a bit curled, so after a bit of searching I decided to splint her feet. Here is the before (and a video):

She's just got the splints on, so we'll see how it looks in the morning. Hobbles were a no-go, she just ended up with bother her legs behind her :-(
