Newly hatched chick with holes in abdomen

This chick hatched yesterday evening . We did not notice anything wrong until this morning. He has two holes on the left side of his stomach/rear end area. He is not really using that left leg too well or walking in general. It doesnt look good for him, but wondering if y'all can give us some ideas of what happened or how to help. Some blood was present, but mostly a clear gel liquid has been seeping out.

You can put some Neosporin on it, but I think it's just a rough looking umbilical area.
