newly hatched chick

Yeayyyy out of my two eggs that survived lock down was supposed to be today so candled last night had one internal pip got up this morning to a external pip and in under 3 hours the little silkie chick was out looks all fine absorbed all yolk etc ....obviously very keen to to hatch now my question how long is it until they start walking around properly its little feet are all curled up at min is that normal it does stretch them out when it moving round and any advice welcome

It depends on the chick. It will sleep for awhile and then should get more and more mobile. I've had chicks hatch out and are roaring to go and others need sleep and time to get on their feet.

Thanks she has be standing up abit better and stretching them out alittle more now oh she was definitely roaring to go with how fast she hatched(saying she for now ) thankyou feel abit better now
