NEWLY HATCHED CHICK'S BROODER WITH A ROOM

I have attempted to incubate chicks and brood them at the correct temperature. I had ok results but still lost some. This time I attached a separate box where the chick's get away from the heated area. I have noticed that the little one's that need the extra heat have it and the bigger ones that do not need the warmer heat go into the attached room. Also if by chance you're heat gets to hot and you're not around, the chick's have a place to to go to get away from the heat. IT WORKS

That's a good idea. Having a bigger brooder and putting the heat source on one end also can work well. Having good air circulation helps too so it doesn't get too stuffy.
