The chicks are 12 weeks old now and have officially started adolescence.As a bonus,I'm also showing close ups of the surprise blue tails after the cockerel's they come from.Enjoy!

Looks like the blue tailed cockerel's have more surprises in store,I just found out their wings are turning blue too!

Sorry for missing a week y'all! Busy week coupled with random pop-up storms makes taking pictures simply ridiculous.

Wow it's been a while since I've posted anything and yet still getting interest in the chicks!You guys rock! Let me fill you in on some things you've missed. Because there were so many rooster's I culled the extra mean ones and kept only my 2 best boys and the 3 females.Here they are at 9 months old.(The buff orpington female is not included in the pics because I can't tell her apart anymore.)

So cute! I have ee's and buff orps but they'll never cross bc they keep to themselves, I did wonder how that would look so hope you keep showing the changes!

After they turn one year old on March 27 i'm planning to post their last pictures and make a new thread that will record all the mixed chicks from my flock.I'm planning to order many of my favorite breeds(including Speckled Sussex) this year for more variety in my chicks and breed them with the boys above.So if your interested in them keep a eye out.
