Newly hatched duckling help

Hi! We have runner ducks laying on some eggs and they pushed one egg, that was hatching, out of the nest. We waited awhile and realized it needed some assistance. We slowly helped it and it eventually came out on it's own. Now, what do we do? It's the only one. We set up a brooder for it and put in a stuffed animal. It's really wobbly on it's legs and it's been 5+ hrs since it hatched. Thanks for any help!!

Just let it rest and recoup strength from hatching, keep it warm, No need to try to get it to eat or drink today. You might want to put a mirror in with it so it can see another duckling and a stuffed animal for comfort. How many eggs left to hatch? Are you planning on brooding them all?

We went to check and found another duckling hatched, so we put them together.

How precious tomorrow you can try some feed and warm water not cold. They may still not be very interested but you never know.
