newly hatched duckling problems

My duckling has Wry Neck, what can I do to help him out? my dad tried to unfold him and he only remained that way for a few seconds and folded back up again. here's a video

oh and my dad mentioned that he looked stuck for like two hours so he chipped away some of the shell for him and after that he slowly popped out.

UPDATE: he said that the duckling is walking around with its head up but when it sleeps it goes back curled.

UPDATE 2: he still keeps his head this way, HELP!

That looks like wry neck. I don't have much experience with this, just had a gosling once with it that survived a couple weeks, then grew weak and passed away. Not sure if it is fixable, but if you do a search on here for wry neck, maybe you can find some more helpful info? Good luck!
