If it were me, I would not put that chicken with the rest of my flock until I spent another $150.00 and had a Poultry Respiratory Panel done. This test is done by the vet taking a tracheal swab from the chicken and sending it to Zoologix for testing. Their PRP will tell you if the chicken has any of the 7 respiratory diseases that chickens get that create a carrier state in the sick bird and then infect the rest of the flock indefinitely. Some of these diseases require that the entire flock be killed to eradicate it. For $150.00 and 3 day turnaround time it will give you peace of mind.
What did the vet do to make the diagnosis? Was any testing done? I am not saying your vet is wrong, but unless you test for these diseases that bird could actually have one of them, improve with treatment, get integrated into the flock and infect all other birds. You will not know until it is too late. Here is the link for information about the test. You might want to talk to the vet about it. My bird vet didn't even know the test existed until she did some research and called and told me about it. Luckily in our case, the little roo I brought home from poultry swap just had a bacterial infection and tested negative for everything else on the PRP. My lack of diligence in bringing in a new bird could have cost the lives of my entire flock. I got lucky.
I wish you well.
