Morning,
I have 5 laying Brahmas.(Originals) 7 nonlaying EEs. I did the whole separated areas for a few weeks. They have been together for 2-3weeks. No problems. my Brahmas laid eggs all through the integration with the EEs. I have 3 new laying copper marans as of last week. Now only 1 of my Original Brahmas are laying eggs.

is the stress of new chickens getting to my Brahmas and that’s why they’re not laying eggs?
Is there an internal problem with my Brahmas that they cannot lay eggs?

The brahmas and marans are a year old. EEs are 4-5months. How long does their break normally last?
Probably not long. They may just slow down a bit. Your profile doesn't say where you are located. Heat can also be an issue. Make sure they have plenty of shade and water, and that the new birds aren't keeping them from getting to the feeders and waterers.

I’m in Centeal Florida. New/More watering cups and pipe feeders are on my honey do list this weekend. They have lots shade in and out of the coop. I water the ground in the coop gave them a tire filled sand bath. The door is open to the fenced/training area so they all make theirs rounds of places to go. Obviously the pecking order is rearranging but no one is seriously injured.

am I doing this all right ?

I have a 20x10 run with a 10x5 coop above the run. 4ft Tall by 3in Wide PVC feeders and 4 automatic water cups. I recently bought them a fan to keep them cool. They have caught on to my call for treats so I have been letting them free range more than when I posted this thread but no change in the eggs.

Make sure they haven't found a "better" place to lay their eggs than their nesting boxes. Mine sometimes get sneaky and I have to find their laying spot, remove the eggs, and then confine them again for a while for re-training.
