Anyone around who can help me tonight


I just midwifed a silkie chick whose sack has dried out I wrote on the hatching site for help but it is already buriedshe is out of the shell and I cut the cord it with little to no blood she is waking every few mins and streching, peeping moving my question is should I keep her in the house or give her to mom

and do you thnk she will servive???

As long as the chick seems fine other wise. Most likely by morning he/she will be all dried and ready to rock and roll.

That's JMO, I am a believer that hens do better than us at raising chicks.
