NH Merrimack- TSC chicken swap 11/7

True, I am sure there are better breeds for protection but even the big wellsummer could fight whatever it was

. That said, there all back in the run now under lock down untill the culprit can found or looses interest in snacking on my chickens.

I did remember the in-law taking a liking to what she called the "old man" polish when we last visited a farm in Dublin, NH and it seemed a good choice. You never know, I may get swayed to choose something seen at the swap. Every time I go, I come back with something.

Thanks, Chickn

thats good that they are penned in for a bit, well not good but you know what i mean

and its true at the swaps you just dont know what will catch your eye.

I'm sure there will be plenty of roos! No shortage of them at this time of year.

Wendy, those cochins are gorgeous! I have to keep reminding myself no more birds. No more birds. No more birds.

thanks, i love them, they are huge and full of fluff and look like they wear pantaloons. i have yet to meet a mean one.

Wendy, I finally got to measure the trailer. It's 4 by 8. Does that help? I forget what size the boards are.

Hi Everybody

It has been decided that this would be the best swap for me to attend this month so I will be there with etched glass and hand painted ornaments. You can see all the info on the ornaments including examples on the 3 NH events thread post # 74. I'm not sure how many custom ornaments I can do between now and Saturday, but anyone interested in getting one at the swap should PM me ASAP and I will do my best to fill all orders by then. I can do some custom glass orders as well if they are made by Wed night. To see info on the glass go to http://glass.firedoverabbitry.com/

Looking forward to the swap!

Hi i was looking to start some egg layers on my farm in barrington, and i will be attending the swap. Im looking for variety and was wondering if their will be any Production Reds, Rhode Island Reds, or Leghorn chick new borns? I only want ten of each since this is my first time growing in 10 years. I think i will be looking for a baby roaster as well. Thanks for replys
