NHR rooster

I'm a newbie at this so I have a couple of dumb sounding questions. First, this spring I ordered 6 sexed chicks, 5 RHR hens and 1 NHR rooster from a pretty reputable poultry breeder. They arrived first week of June so are now about 12 weeks old. If there is a rooster in the bunch you could fool me - they all look alike! At what age should a NHR rooster start to distinguish himself? If there is no rooster can I still let my hens free range? Lastly, I have two pretty well-behaved geese - can I expect peace on the homefront or should I keep them all separated? Thanks so much for your help!

By 12 weeks, you should know if you have a rooster in those breeds. If you post a pic, we can tell you. Cant help with the goose question, though, sorry.
