Niacin at tractor supply

I bought that to. The reason I got the granular is because I have a farm 2 hours away I go to for several days at a time I leave the birds about 30 gallons of water in different drinkers and 60 lbs of crumble hanging in their pin. I can add the granular to the feeders and they can get it when I'm gone.

So, I went to Tractor Supply and purchased the above Vitamin B complex and they are refusing to eat it. Seriously? They eat food so fast that I can't keep their dish full and none of them will eat it after one bite. Is there a trick to this?

That's what I did and they walked away from it! Sigh. They are not making my life easy. Also, I was putting 1 ml in each hand with their crumble and trying to feed each individually so they each had the proper amount. How would I do this if I just left it out for them?

Following this too. Trying to figure out what I need to add for my ducklings. What are you using for bedding? I've currently got pine shavings but changing it all the time..

Pine shaving. We change the 55 gallon bin daily and add to it about every 1-2 hours. We're a family of five with our youngest child being 14, so the ducklings get lots of cleaning and attention. What truly helped was getting a bigger bin and moving their food and water to one side. I started with a poultry pack and a small waterer but they couldn't submerge their head so we moved to half gallon milk cartons with holes cut out. Be careful about making the holes too big. I had one little devil climb in and get very freaked out when she couldn't get back out.

I just added the liquid B to their water to see if I can get it into them that way. Tractor Supply has been out of Purina Duck food so I ordered it. The only thing I could find in store that wasn't medicated was Dumor Organic 19% Chick Starter Crumble but I don't see any Niacin in it at all. I'm going to get peas tonight and some meal worms. I think we're suppose to wait until 4 weeks to feed them these things. I suspect they are between 3-4 weeks. We've had them for two weeks already and they weren't as tiny as the ones Tractor Supply currently has.

I'm completely open to advice! If nothing else, we are conscious pet owners and try to do the best by our pets.

I used one of the metal bins like they have at tractor supply for a brooder. Fed chicks and ducks medicated purina chick feed just added brewers yeast to the food. Theyre all still on the same food. One of my pictures on here shows what I bought yesterday it's a rooster booster crumble from tractor supply. I raised them on pine shavings and set the food and water bowl on a puppy pee pad to soak up what the ducks would slosh out. I cleaned the brooder every 3 days. The large red coffee container is the feeder they can get their heads in but not scratch. I also made a waterer the same way after they started messing up the gallon waterer. They all live outside now an old farmer told me one time if you keep them under a lamp to much it slows down the feathers from coming in. I've had pretty good luck with quail and chicks the ducks seem to be doing fine with it also. They have straw in their hutch that seems to work pretty good for them. It's the first time I've used it I like it better than shavings.
