I’ve been sprinkling on brewers yeast on my duckling’s food but I noticed yesterday after a trip in the tub that one has bowed legs while the others are fine. I picked up some vitamin b complex from the feed store and I had a sterile syringe. How much of this complex should I give orally to this one duckling?

I am still researching this. I don't disagree with the amount usually suggested, I just want to do more research before I sign off on it.

Fair enough! I’m going to give the b complex and record my results. I’ll pass it along to you so you can have some more information.

I went down that road with the syringe and got more on me than in the duck's mouth! I ended up putting it on meal worms and that was much more sucessful. Maybe you'll be able to do it better than I did though.

I was able to administer it with a little drip. My white shirt has yellow splotches on it now unfortunately.

I have some literature that says Pekins need Niacin at 70 ppm (70 mg per kg of food), whereas most other ducks are okay with 55 ppm.

Well the first dose was administered today at 12:45 EDT and I believe I will administer in water from now on.
