Niacin!!

Alrighty the protein is 16% and calcium is 3.6 min to 4.6 max. And he weighs 7.5 pounds!
Okay. Protein is okay, but calcium is to high, and niacin almost certainly way too low. Too much calcium in a non-laying bird can cause gout, which could explain how symtoms, so I think you need to find something that's under 2% calcium. Are there any Purina or Nutrena dealers in your area? I ask because both make an all flock feed that would be better for him.

What brand of b complex do you have?

Yes absolutely we have a tractor supply down the road so i will go grab some different feed! I have the natures bounty liquid b complex. I updated my previous post w a photo of it since at the time i apparently had limited internet lol

TSC usually has at least one brand of ALL Flock feed. Usually it will have pictures of birds other than chickens on the bag, turkeys, ducks, etc.

These are the three all flock type feeds I most commonly see available at the big ranch stores.

Thank you! I did just stop into TSC and pick up the second one you listed, the purina flock raiser. My problem is i also have a female who is laying eggs and needs the calcium! Should i just mix this feed in with my other feed maybe? @casportpony

I provide my laying ducks with crushed oyster shell (also available at TSC) in a separate small dish near the regular feed so that my ducks can take it free choice when their bodies tell them they need it.

I feed them all flock or flock raiser, depending on which feed store I get to.

I give my girls oyster shell on the side, and they also seem to love when I feed them their own eggshells back to them. This way they can eat extra calcium if/when they may need it. I find it easier than separate feedings, I just give all my chickens and ducks of both sexes the same all flock food all the time so it seems to be good for males or someone who isn't laying because they are too young or too old or in molt, and then the layers pick at the bowls of oyster shell at the times of year they are laying most.

If you are giving your pekin the BComplex on the side for now, I don't see harm in mixing the two feeds until you run out of the one you already have on hand and then purchase the Flock Raiser going forward.
