Nibbler the single duckling

Speedy was like this at first - she was preening herself the first few days but then she'd almost like be waiting for mama to dry her, and since I was crazy over her I would towel dry her to make sure she didnt get cold. She preens herself now, but still jumps up on my lap occasionally for me to dry her or she stands there shaking like she's cold until I do. Spoiled brat of mine...

As for the cat question, if you know your cat - you know if they can be trusted or not. Ever since my youngest cat batted a paw at speedy and knocked her head on the underside of the coffee table<the cat, not speedy>. They dont mess with any of the ducklings - I could leave sugar in the room with them for an hour and come back to her sleeping right where I left her and they didn't so much as move near her. Now that she is bigger, lily will come lay near her and curl up to sleep, but that's it.
It's my dogs I gotta watch.

Yes I am much less worried about them and I think my next round of ducklings will be a little easier.

My cat got outside and when he got up next to the grown ducks and realized how big they are he was like “NOPE!”

Haha yeah! I braught in a 5 week old duck and it snapped him on the lip amd scared him soo much

Missy in a little bath she loves floating around in warm water. And then she preened herself realy good

Sure doesn't take much to make her happy She is adorable.

Nibbler still loves warm baths and cuddles

And missy the muscovie is now outside permenently and after 2 days sleeps cuddling the other ducks. Funny thing is the ducks are nice to her but the hens chase her sometimes
