Hello!
My name is Emma and I’ve been keeping chickens for about 6 years now. I used to rescue chickens, but now I mostly just buy feed store chicks to raise because I haven’t come across a rescue in need of a home in a while. Right now I have four beautiful girls: a Delaware named Fiona, an easter egger named Junie, a barred rock named Basil, and a Rhode Island Red named Cherry. I used to have a gorgeous madigan claret game hen, but she sadly passed away last week.
I was a veterinary technician for about a year before I decided to quit and go to veterinary school to become a doctor. I’m very excited to be in the BYC community!!
