Hi fellow chicken lovers! I’m Teri from Oklahoma. I have a little flock of 16 chickens and a French Copper Maran rooster. They free range in a fenced half acre with my two Nigerian Dwarf goats. Sage, our Great Pyr, is their guardian and takes her job quite seriously! Although she is not above a dash through the flock to keep them on their toes.

I had chickens over forty years ago, but I have had geese, ducks and peafowl instead over the years. I just got a strong hankering for some chickens again and I’m having a blast. I love my girls!

Welcome! I’m considering adding 3 dwarf goats to my collection this spring - just want to make sure I’m not biting off more than I can chew before doing so
