Well, we had a rabbit cage that was turned into a mini coop - good for maybe 3-4 chicken max. And then we added a bigger enclosure behind it. At the moment we have a silkie mum with 4 baby chicks in the smaller coop and a silkie rooster + four 2 months olds in the bigger unit. Attached an image. I hope it's good enough! The climate here is pretty warm and they seem pleased for now. While I'm around and can watch out for them, I let them room around free in the garden.
