That looks very fun! What was your learning curve Nifty? As in from install app to getting a "feel for it"?I wish I was smart enough to use it, but I'm all-about the dummy's version: www.tinkercad.com
Grid is in mm, but I need to resize the part once I can go outside to measure the hole it is going intoWhat's the scale of the graphing? ~9" square?
I'm thinking it's a surface attached logo. Note those green parts?Am I allowed to ask what it is?![]()
Of course you can ask!Am I allowed to ask what it is?![]()

Okay so maybe the green parts are recessed?Grid is in mm, but I need to resize the part once I can go outside to measure the hole it is going into![]()
Learning curve for tinkercad is SUPER low (relative to Fusion 360, etc.). I've done a little design in different programs, so I'm sure that made it a tiny bit easier. That looks very fun! What was your learning curve Nifty? As in from install app to getting a "feel for it"?
Fusion is MUCH easier to navigate than Solidworks. The built in CAM software makes it superior for all but the most complex operations.Learning curve for tinkercad is SUPER low (relative to Fusion 360, etc.). In the past, I didn't design enough to master / retain the more intense design programs, but now that I think about it, I've done so much stuff over the last 2.5 years for 3D printing, I probably should have put in the time for Fusion vs. Tinkercad.
I guess it's not too late, right?
