Night Chatters

I''m been on rotating shift for over 12 years now. The only advantage is blocks of days off rather then "working for the weekend" grind. It requires a different mindset to schedule activities around the days off. I get blocks of days off of 3 to 6 days at a time with taking vacation to give me 21 days off at a time.

I remember another thread made for this purpose. It got quite awesome towards the end of its short, 150 page life span.

That makes the bunch of us! Well, I've finally thought up an idea for this year's Script Frenzy, which I'm going to take a stab at again. It's like a very weird version of Wall Street coupled with some of the stuff I usually write about. I've always wanted to finish a stock market idea, I always used to give up on those halfway through because I ran into dead ends.

i work 4 days and am off 4 days.. it's quite peachy. i didn't like rotating at all, as soon as you get use to the shift you are flipped to the next... and with 4 days off, doesn't really kill the social life too badly .. but it sure is boring when nobody is up to talk
