As a former recruiter, I can tell you that recruiters absolutely have no time to tell all applicants they didn't get the job. As a former job seeker, I can tell you it absolutely sucks. Hang in there.
Honestly though, how long does it take to send out a copy-and-paste email saying the person wasn’t hired? One company actually said they’d do that, and I’ve heard nothing from them in the three weeks since my interview lol.

I have never liked the idea how some places let HR do hiring and firing. That should only be done by the Dept. Head that they will be working for. There are plenty of other things for HR to be doing that the Dept. Head doesn't have time to be doing. So, I also think it should be the Dept. Head's place to notify any interviewees of decisions. I tell them they will be hearing from me either way and they always do. I think it is common courtesy to do that. They could be waiting to hear from you before deciding to accept another job. I am not going to do that for everyone that applies, but if they are worth an interview then they are worth a little courtesy.

I can sleep so much better after sunup than at 2 in the morning. I've been a night owl for years... A night owl for over half a century. I wish there was a cure.
Yes, the best sleep is normally at that time, or at least it is if there is a reason to have to get up. It seems like a lot of times when I know I don't need to be up is when I can't sleep, or someone is going to call or text me and wake me up. I won't silence my phone because I have youngins and because of a possible work emergency. But, it is usually some bs text that wakes me and then I can't go back to sleep.

The day after an interview send a short thank you email to the interviewer. *Helps you stay in their memory
*Shows interest and initiative
*Makes you stand out

A few weeks after your interview you can reach out and ask if the position is still available and let them know you are still interested.

After doing the above, let it be and move on to another opportunity.

I have interest in one that called me back. He said he is from Cinnabon in my town, and I even Googled it because I had not sent an application to any such place. Our town does not have Cinnabon! The closest one is about 50 miles away. So I am intereted because I want to know where it was exactly that I had applied that sounds like Cinnabon. 🤔

Gearing up for another night in shifts. Sleep seems to come in 2 parts during the night. I have to get up and sit up for awhile for my body to get ready for the second shift.
