Ok, we have 6 chickens and they officially went into a coop last Tuesday. I have had to pick them all up and put them in the coop until last night where two went in on their own (had to catch the other 4). Tonight, 3 were in there when I went down to the coop AND they were on the roost (yeah). Had to catch the other 3. Is it normal that they don't all go at once (I am hoping just a few more days :) Just curious about if this is normal!!!!

Thanks

They don't all go in at once, but they should all be going in by the time it gets dark. I can count on mine to go in, and when it starts to get dark out, I just go count chickens and lock the doors. If they're not recognizing the coop as home yet, lock them up in there for a few days, without letting them out. Then they'll start recognizing it as the food/shelter/sleep place.
