Nights in the 70's -- Chicks 3 Weeks Old Still Need Heat?

Well, a storm front changed things so at 3am or so the light went on. I found them grouped up pretty tight.

The next few nights are forecast to not drop below 75 so we'll see how that goes.

The chicks have been heat-free for a couple nights now.

Assuming that they hatched on Wednesday June 24 for delivery to the store on Friday June 26 and seeing that they're pretty well covered in feathers at this point we removed the heat lamp completely from the coop.

I've been really nervous about Chipotle and Omelet seeming quite determined to jump up on it.
