... the evening song rocks----almost like a chicken purring...

They have yet another song/language. We call it "Hihowahya" This is when we go out to their run with a couple of camper chairs and sit. Soon we have the same 6 pets show up and hop up on our knees, arms, shoulders, etc and all are trying to say 'Hihowahya' at the same time.

There is one twilight sentinel too. She is a small Rhodie who waits at the gate for whomever is coming to lock down the coop. She wants to be carried inside and put on her roost every night. Only way to avoid that is to wait until it is nearly pitch black because she is always the last one in the coop, every night. We call her 'Little Red' since she is a small Rhodie.
