Heya! I have one brown who has a white flight feather... I checked the rest of them, and she's the only one with this. Is it a sign that she carries A&M? Two of the eggs that I hatched out were definately from one hen, but some of the other ones that hatched were from different hens, so I'm guessing that A&M carriers don't ALWAYS have "markers", if this is what her white feather is...
So, what's your say on it?

I'd say it's deffinatly possible. I have some brown hens that have white shoulder feathers (only a few) so a white flight feather sounds even more dramatic genetically than my white shouldered girls!

I think that's your A & M carrier I was yappin about

I'm thinking that they may all carry it. Some of the eggs were from different hens, and they've all been coming out as tuxes. The girls were all bought from Sam, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were hatchmates with similar genes (ie, siblings or half-siblings).
