Lenny looks like a little maltese dog put a bow in his feathers and the neighbors will never know he is a rooster. If he crows say he has strange vocal cords or something. I'd love to see your other silkie too and hope the eggs hatch. Is your girl also white?

That's the best idea yet, drumstick diva! Lol! He probably could pull it off, too (i.e. his Maltese dog act). It would definitely be more convincing now that he has grown out of his awkward baby rooster/teenager stage like in this photo below!!
As for the hen, she's white too. I'll post a picture of her as soon as I can manage to get one when she's not in her nest.

(The hen was probably off to the side taking a dustbath while Lenny looks right at the camera. It was so cute watching her attempt to groom the feathers on his head when they were this age. )

I agree, sourland, and do you know what I've discovered? The dogs barking around here make more noise than one little silkie rooster anyway!!
