Nipple waterer and winter

People that use the nipple water systems, What do you plan to use durring the winter months.

Just replaced mine this morning with a corded heated waterer....no way am I going to bring it in to the kitchen sink and argue with that thing 3 times a day.

I suppose if it was big enough you could stick one of those bird bath water heaters into the water....that should keep it thawed I would think.

I have insilated my pipes and my water nipple is in the coop ,so it should be ok . we will see .
