Nipple waterer bucket, how to warm water

I have the five gallon food grade bucket with nipples on the underside of the bucket.
How would I keep this water in the bucket warm considering it hangs on a chain.

Well where are you? If it doesn't get below freezing, and if it does, not for long, then you'll be fine without one.

If it DOES get below freezing for long amount of times, then try getting a automatic water heater (it sits on top of the bucket in the water), or you could wrap it in like a heater pad you usually put undereath it but put it around it,.

I use an aquarium heater. It just sits in the bucket and lays on the bottom.

Same here, last winter used a 60Watt aquarium heater inside the bucket, sat on the bottom, only comes on
based on the temp control you set. Worked well.!!!

I know this is an older post, but I'm hoping it'll bump.
I got the idea of the aquarium heater from jmagill (thanks!) and will be trying it in a 5 gallon bucket with nipples on the bottom.
Question is, at what temp will the nipples freeze? Has anyone had problems with that?
I live in western NY and the temps frequently get to 0' or 10' F. I have 39 chickens and will be using 2 buckets with 5 nipples each.
