We use Braggs apple cider vinegar in our plastic waterers. Today DH is humoring me and installing a nipple waterer system. Do any of you use apple cider vinegar with your nipple waterers? The metal part on our red plastic screw in nipples is stainless steel.

Thank you for the response! Ours are assembled but need to be tweaked. A few are leaking so we will only be using plain water until we get everything working properly.

Btw I started a new post about my chickens not getting enough water from their nipple waterer...

I have been using apple cider vinegar as a precaution against coccidiosis. 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar per one quart of water.

There are lots of threads about the benefits of raw, unpasturized apple cider vinegar. Just do a search for it! It has health benefits for us as well as for our chickens. It also helps keep the water clean.
