Heres my assignment for the week. It's kinda bad, but I tried

. I like the dress and body, but her head and arms are..... ugh.

You know what? I need critiques...I'm writing a young adults book right now, and I'd love to put some illustrations in it. I'm trying for semi-realistic cartooning, and this is my first time ever drawing anime/manga (I don't really know the difference). So I hope ya'll don't mind if I jump right in. I did the first assignment already:

I had a hard time with face shape and realistic hair, so critiques on that (And everything else!) are greatly appreciated.
