I dont know---someone else asked that also. Have you ever shipped large roos before? I never have....

They can be shipped as long as you use a box rated for the weight of the bird(s). The heavier they are the more $$ it costs to ship.

He is not too heavy. Dont you have to buy a special box with filter for shipping adult birds?

He should. How much would it be for shipping. Its usually around $40-$50 but could be more for him im not sure.

He is not that heavy, he is just under a year so he hasnt bulked out yet. I can find out my wieghing him on my scale, although I dont know if it would be completely accurate.

also, i can send more pics first if youd like. He has what I think is a rose comb. His feathers are nice a soft. He is a nice roo so far. Although he is low man on the totem pole as far as roos go right now!
