Help me understand what is happening 🤣

Naked neck is a dominant gene you get a 50 /50 shot when you breed them to a regular chicken. Most chicks though will not be naked neck. Basically you’ve just not hatched any with the naked neck gene yet.
Thank you so much!!!! Is it the same with satin?

So in theory I could (if I’m extra lucky) hatch a black, satin NN (with a recessive partridge gene?) Is black skin dominant? (All of my hatches have 5 toes and black skin so far)

So many questions… thank you so much!!!

Yes sam for satin. When breding black skin to black skin or darker skin youll get all black skinned chicks. If you breed a black skin to a non black skin the girls will be dark skinned, thats what Ive read, Ive also read black skin is complicated.

Thank you!! 🙏 So far all black skin!!! Crossing my fingers for a black NN satin with black skin 😍

I cannot verify the accuracy of the following breeding chart (image from google).. But it may be helpful to you. My understanding is that NN is incomplete dominant. As stated in post #9, it's possible that none have hatched..

The one you're calling splash looks like a bowtie more than a full stripper. I didn't see any pics of the wheaten. Hopefully, someone with a clearer genetics understanding will (tag &) correct me if anything I've posted is inaccurate!

Happy hatching!
Thank you!!! 🙏 The wheaten is the satin girl (at least I think that’s what color she is)
